Conference convener, Dr. Mirasol, explained that the ICMAR 2021 provided a platform for scholars, academicians, researchers, and students from various disciplines to participate in a learning exchange of trends and issues in methodological advances in research.

The conference theme for this year was “Global Interconnectivity through Innovative Collaboration.” It highlighted the changing landscape of research and development as brought about by the Fourth Industrial Revolution (4IR).

Among the aims of the conference were to provide an avenue for researchers, scientists, educators, students, grassroots leaders, industry practitioners, and policy-makers in government and non-government institutions to discuss and share findings and solutions using advanced research methods; and to raise awareness on the latest world-changing research and innovations attained through advanced methodologies.

During the closing ceremony, the best paper per strand were recognized.  There was also an oath taking for elected VMCJPI officers and a video tribute for the consortium and BukSU’s research consultant, former CHED Commissioner Roberto N. Padua. (With a report from Joanne Vivien B. Necosia/OVPREI)
