History
The Bukidnon State University Impasug-ong Satellite Campus, established in response to the vision of Mayor Anthony A. Uy and supported by Senator Juan Miguel F. Zubiri, opened its doors on August 5, 2019. Through a Deed of Usufruct, a 28,000 square meter portion of Lot No. 642, PLS 169 located at Agro-Industrial Trade Center, Poblacion, Impasug-ong, Bukidnon was allocated for its development. Officially turned over on August 2, 2019, the campus inauguration was attended by dignitaries, stakeholders, and enthusiastic students.
Offering Bachelor of Public Administration and Bachelor of Science in Business Administration programs, the campus enrolled 384 students in its inaugural semester of AY 2019-2020, catering to diverse demographics including senior citizens, solo parents, working students, and Indigenous People Communities. Led by its first Campus In-charge, Ms. Marlie Joy G. Sigod, the campus swiftly obtained Certificates of Compliance for both programs in 2020 and 2021, marking significant milestones in its academic journey.
A testament to its growth and community support, on March 21, 2024, a Deed of Conditional Donation was signed, granting the campus an additional parcel of land measuring 43,071 square meters, a pivotal step forward in realizing its mission of providing accessible tertiary education to the people of Impasug-ong and neighboring areas.
