
College of Nursing (CON) faculty members have been elected to leadership positions in the Philippine Nurses Association (PNA) Bukidnon Chapter for Calendar Years 2025–2027.
Dr. Ma. Theresa B. Plete will serve as President of the PNA Bukidnon Chapter. The organization’s executive officers also include Dr. Hazel P. Agbayani as Vice President for Finance and Dr. Ma. Algerica T. Cuenco as Secretary.
Emmanuelita R. Barrera was elected as a member of the Board of Directors. In that capacity, she will take part in policy discussions and continuing professional development activities within the association.
Dr. Fatima C. Tanzo will continue to serve the organization as immediate past governor of PNA Region X. The position provides continuity for the regional organization and supports its ongoing programs and activities.
The appointments place CON faculty members in leadership roles within the province’s professional nursing organization while they continue their academic responsibilities at the university.
Their participation in the association includes work related to professional organizations, policy development, community health programs, and continuing nursing education.
The elected officers will serve the Philippine Nurses Association Bukidnon Chapter for CY 2025–2027.
According to CON, the faculty members’ appointments continue the working relationship between the academic sector and the nursing profession through organizational leadership, professional development, and healthcare initiatives across the province.
