Two (2) heavy-duty tents were donated for Bukidnon State University, particularly for the Elementary Laboratory School (ELS) and the Secondary Laboratory School (SLS) through the BukSU ELS-SLS Alumni Association 2025-2026 on March 13, 2026.
This contribution was a direct result of the incredible spirit of giving witnessed during the 2025 Alumni Fellowship at the University Gymnasium on December 20, 2025.
Commencing in 2026 is a year of giving with a formal turnover ceremony at the University President’s Office with University President Dr. Joy M. Mirasol.
According to the association, the giving aimed to support the university’s various outdoor student activities. “It was the collective generosity of every alumnus in attendance that turned a festive gathering into a tangible legacy.”
“Our goal is to ensure that the students of today feel the support of those who came before them. These tents are just the beginning of our 2026 roadmap,” stated Mr. Michael Ho, project head.
Mr. Marlon Valcorza, association president, representing the SLS Batch 1989 Technical Vocational Alumni Group (TVAC), presented a proposal for a future collaboration between BukSU and the batch to support future Bachelor of Science in Automotive Technology students and Bachelor of Science in Electronics Technology students.
