University boosts innovation with New Incentives Policy

The Board of Regents has officially approved a significant increase in the Innovation Creator’s Incentives Policy, aiming to further encourage a culture of research and innovation within the university. The approval, outlined in Resolution No. 3032, Series of 2025, marks a major step in the institution’s commitment to rewarding groundbreaking work.

This updated policy substantially raises the rewards for innovators whose work leads to impactful outcomes in four key areas: knowledge creation, social transformation, commercialization, and public service.

Building upon the existing framework, the new policy is designed to motivate the academic community to turn their creative ideas into tangible solutions that can benefit society.
