BukSU Nursing Achieves 97.50% Passing Rate in November 2024 PNLE

Seventy-eight first-time takers from Bukidnon State University’s (BukSU) College of Nursing (CON) successfully passed the November 2024 Philippine Nurse Licensure Examination (PNLE), achieving an impressive passing rate of 97.50%.

This result significantly surpasses the national passing rate of 84.99%, as reported by the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) Board of Nursing on November 29, 2024.

 “Nothing worth comes easy. I constantly reminded myself that to succeed is to conquer the obstacles that stand in the way of what lies ahead,” said BukSU PNLE passer April Anne R. Sacupayo. “It wasn’t an easy road; being here is all for His greater glory. From not knowing if I would be able to pursue this degree to finally having ‘RN’ after my name—well, God truly provides.”

The 80 first-time takers, collectively known as the Hiraya Class of 2024, have brought pride to their alma mater. CON celebrated this achievement, describing it as a testament to the student’s hard work, determination, and the institution’s commitment to excellence.

“With minds sharpened, hearts devoted, and hands ready to care, you are prepared to make a lasting impact. Carry the BukSU spirit with pride as you begin this noble calling,” the college expressed in a statement on social media.

In addition to the success of first-time takers, two retakers from BukSU’s alumni also passed the exam, contributing to the university’s overall performance rate of 96.39%.

The PNLE was conducted in various testing centers nationwide on November 9-10, 2024.
