Community Development intends to produce/develop individuals to be competent development practitioners. The course will provide an opportunity for the students to be equipped with skills in community organizing, planning, training and development, social mobilization, and action research. Moreover, the course will develop the capabilities of the students to accelerate the achievement of their respective goals through quality instruction, research, extension, and production.
The Community Development Program is one of the courses offered at BukSU under the College of Arts and Sciences. This program started in 2002 it was under School of Extended has obtained in 2017 the Certificate of Program Compliance (COPC) from CHED with CHEDRO-X order no. 003, S.2017.
