Fifty Bukidnon State University (BukSU) personnel took oath on May 13, 2024, during the Oath Taking Ceremony at the University Mini Theater.
After the rigorous selection of the university under the Commission on Higher Education – Department of Budget and Management (CHED-DBM) Joint Circular 3 s. 2022, thirty-three (33) reclassified faculty members and seventeen (17) non-teaching personnel pledged for government service.
These teaching personnel include two Professors VI, four Professors V, two Professors IV, one Professor III, five Professors II, two Professors I, six Associate Professors V, and eleven Instructors I.
Meanwhile, the non-teaching personnel are one Administrative Office III, two Accountants I, one Registrar I, two Administrative Officers II, two Administrative Officers I, and nine Administrative Aides VI, assigned to various units and officers of the university.
SMART BukSU President Dr. Joy M. Mirasol posed a challenge to the faculty members especially to the professors in taking the lead towards innovative and excellent teaching strategies, displaying leadership roles and mentoring colleagues in the conduct of scientific studies, and playing active roles in innovative extension activities.
This is the second group of faculty members who have been reclassified. The first batch, consisting of 222 personnel, took their oath on May 6th. (BukSU-Information Unit)
