Bukidnon State University (BukSU) recognized 114 employees and inducted 40 newly appointed and promoted personnel during the Gantimpala Agad Awarding and Oath-Taking Ceremony.
A total of 114 employees received Gantimpala Agad Awards across five categories.
The SMART Research category recorded the highest number of awardees with 64 recipients. SMART Governance recognized 14 employees, while Smart Campus honored 13 personnel. The SMART Workforce category included 12 awardees, and SMART Education recognized 11 employees.





“The Gantimpala Agad Awards recognize individuals and teams whose outstanding accomplishments have brought honor and distinction to the university through excellence in instruction, research, extension, innovation, governance, sustainability, internationalization, public service, and institutional development,” said Dr. Janne Claudian C. Salvaña, BukSU’s HRMO III.
The university also presented a special recognition to Salvaña for championing the Civil Service Commission-Honor Awards Program.

Forty personnel take oath
The ceremony included the induction of 40 newly appointed and promoted employees.

Of the total, 12 were teaching personnel and 28 were non-teaching personnel who formally took their oath during the program.
According to BukSU President Dr. Joy M. Mirasol, the university’s workforce remains central to its operations and institutional accomplishments.
“Every achievement in SMART Education, SMART Students, SMART Research, Development and Extension, SMART Governance, and SMART Campus is made possible by the heart of it all—our SMART Workforce,” Mirasol said.
