
Bukidnon State University (BukSU), through the Research and Development Unit, conducted a Journal Scouting and Research Writeshop for Publication on October 15, 2025, aimed at elevating the research output and publication success rate of its faculty researchers at the 4th Floor Conference Hall of the Research and Extension Building.
“The activity provided a structured environment for faculty to refine their completed research papers and target them for submission to high-impact journals indexed in Scopus or the Web of Science (WoS),” Ms. Joan Recente, Director for Research and Development Unit, said.
The writeshop addressed the challenges faculty and researchers faced in identifying appropriate journals and preparing manuscripts according to specific publisher requirements.
Mr. Reymark T. Malinda, Head of the Publication Section, presented the pre-selected Scopus-Indexed Journals to the existing completed studies for publication.
Participants were expected to submit the journal format aligned to a Scopus or WoS-indexed journal. (BukSU Information Unit)
