






Bukidnon State University (BukSU) was recognized by the Commission on Higher Education (CHED) through the International Affairs Services (IAS) during the Internationalization Champions of Nation-Building and Sustainability (ICONS) Awards 2024, on December 16, 2024, at the Philippine International Center (PICC), Pasay City.
“ICONS Awards 2024 recognizes the high-impact initiatives of the Philippine Higher Education Institutions (PHEIs) towards sustainability, commendable performance in recognized international rankings and ratings, trailblazing efforts to advance internationalization, and valuable contributions to Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) regional prosperity,” CHED delivered.
“The World University Rankings for Innovation (WURI) recognized BukSU for its creative and innovative approaches to university research and education that focus on: industrial application, entrepreneurial spirit, ethical value, student mobility and openness, crisis management and fourth industrial revolution,” CHED added.
