Ten research projects were presented for implementation in 2025.
The writeshop, facilitated by the Office of the University President under the leadership of SMART BukSU President Dr. Joy M. Mirasol and through the efforts of Ms. Joanne Vivien B. Necosia- University Futures Thinking Focal Person, enabled the enhancement of the university’s research culture by integrating futures thinking into innovative proposals.

“The proposed studies adequately responds to future challenges and opportunities,” Office of the President (OP) shared.
“We extend our gratitude to the Office of Senator Pia Cayetano, Chairperson of the Senate Committee on Sustainable Future, for her unwavering support in empowering BukSU’s academic community. Special thanks also to ADII for equipping our Smart BukSU Futurists—both teaching and non-teaching personnel—with the skills needed to innovate and create meaningful research initiatives,” OP added.
