
Eight faculty members from Bukidnon State University (BukSU) received multiple awards at the 2024 International Conference on Research, Innovation, and Investment (ICRII), held at Limketkai Luxe Hotel, Cagayan de Oro, on September 16-17.
The conference, which gathered scholars, researchers, and innovators from across the region, featured strong participation from BukSU. A total of 36 delegates, both onsite and virtual, presented 28 research papers across various academic fields.

BukSU co-hosted this year’s ICRII, reaffirming its commitment to advancing academic research and fostering innovative solutions to address both global and local challenges.
In her message, BukSU President Dr. Joy M. Mirasol emphasized that research and development are vital investments in the country’s future, ensuring that the Philippines remains competitive in an ever-evolving global landscape.
“We must create an environment where our students, faculty, and stakeholders collaborate to turn knowledge into action, bridging gaps between technology, policy, and practice. By doing so, we can improve the lives of every Filipino, strengthen our ecosystem, preserve our environment, and uplift the quality of life for future generations,” Mirasol said in a message read by Dr. Carina Joanne V.
