
Bukidnon State University College of Nursing (BukSU-CON) secured 3rd place at the 3rd Battle of the Nightingales, organized by Manuel J. Santos Hospital for the inter-school quiz bowl, held on August 23, 2024, at the Robinsons Place-Activity Center in Butuan City.
The participants came from the CARAGA region and Region X.
BukSU Nursing students Raymond Zachary S. Tiu, John Carlo Cawasan, and Reah Angela Dinampo represented Bukidnon State University with faculty adviser Ms. Brenda Gellor.
The top four teams were tied for 1st place after three tie-breaker rounds. These teams were: Xavier University, Iligan Medical Center College, Bukidnon State University, and Father Saturnino Urios University. The final decision came down to a sudden death round between Father Saturnino Urios University and BukSU for 3rd place, with BukSU ultimately securing the position. Xavier University emerged as the champion, while Iligan Medical Center College secured 2nd place.
