QUEZON BUKIDNON – Bukidnon State University’s Quezon Satellite Campus conducted Job Fair 2023 with 43 BukSU alumni and students hired on-the-spot held at the Quezon Municipal Evacuation on May 9, 2023.
The said event was in collaboration with the Municipality of Quezon’s Public Employment Service Office (PESO), and the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) Malaybalay.
The Job Fair 2023 focused on the theme: “Future Career Begins Here.” This event aimed to bridge the gap between jobseekers and prospective employers, providing an excellent platform for individuals to secure employment opportunities. It was open to all jobseekers, with a special emphasis on BukSU Quezon Alumni and external applicants.
The Job Fair featured a diverse range of employers from different industries, including both local and international companies. Representatives from these organizations were present to provide information about their companies and the positions they were looking to fill.
The said activity enabled the candidates to showcase their skills, experience, and enthusiasm directly to potential employers. Attendees had the chance to engage in face-to-face conversations, submit their resumes, and learn more about the hiring processes of various companies.
This Job Fair was the first of its kind sponsored by BukSU Quezon Satellite Campus. The campus aimed to empower its graduating students and unemployed individuals by offering them a platform to kickstart their careers. The event not only provided access to potential job opportunities but also fostered networking and professional development, helping participants gain valuable insights into the job market and the demands of various industries. Overall, the Job Fair 2023 was a resounding success, bringing together jobseekers and employers in a vibrant and dynamic environment.
