MALAYBALAY CITY/OP-IPS – Bukidnon State University will be hosting a virtual international lecture with the theme “The Impacts of Inflation: Dealing with Challenges in the Asia-Pacific Region” via Zoom on October 20, 2022.
Accordingly, the said webinar will be conducted in order to increase understanding on supply and demand factors, explore the persistence of rising price pressures, and provide possible coping strategies that can help the government and the community in general.
Prof. Efrain Pavel Uribe Soto, Economist from San Marcos University and Dr. Pranesh Kulkarni, Associate Professor of Economics from Karnakata State India are the facilitators of the said event.
All students from the Bachelor of Arts in Economics Program, MSU-Business Economics, College of Business, and College of Education are the target participants which are expected to write a reflection paper after the session.
This virtual lecture also aims to increase the awareness of Economics students on current socio-economic issues. After the activity, students’ outputs will be submitted for monitoring of development which will be polished for possible portfolio documentation. (Diana Rose B. Lagoy/OP-IPS)
