BukSU obtains “Very much satisfied” 2021 1st Sem customer satisfaction

MALAYBALAY CITY (OP-IPS) Bukidnon State University obtained an over-all average rating of 4.94 or “Very Much Satisfied” customer satisfaction, based on the report of the University Feedback Management Committee during the annual university-wide management review on July 21, 2021 via Zoom.

Dr. Lorenzo B. Dinlayan III, head of the University Feedback Management Committee, revealed the rating for January to June 2021 during his presentation in the review. He cited that the university consistently obtained the rating, which reflects the sustainability of the university’s commitment to clientele satisfaction and commendable customer service.

He noted that most of the negative feedback recorded were minor complaints which were already resolved by concerned units.

University President Dr. Oscar B. Cabañelez chaired the review with the three vice presidents and other officials taking their own turn to present status of actions taken arising from the previous management review. They also presented highlights of their respective accomplishments and upcoming activities and priority areas.

Top management, deans, directors and unit heads of the university attended this annual event, which is the routine assessment of the university’s management system in terms of accomplishing intended quality objectives and producing desired results as efficiently as possible. Top management also discussed during the review appropriate interventions and action plans developed to address pertinent university issues.
Mr. Dante S. Victoria Jr., VP for Administration, Planning and Development highlighted in his recommendations for improvement the strengthening of mechanisms to handle customer complaints, establishing academic linkages, review and monitoring of MFO accomplishments, and firming up health and safety protocols as well as transparency mechanisms.
Dr. Joy M. Mirasol, Chair of the Performance Management Team (PMT), presented a report on the Performance Commitment Rating of the units for the first rating period of 2021. She discussed the accomplishments of the units against their major final outputs (MFOs) and enumerated the actions to be taken by concerned units especially on unmet targets.
Dr. Jesus B. Juevesano, ISO Coordinator, reported on the consolidated results and corrective actions taken from the conducted internal audits by the university Internal Quality Audit (IQA) Team. He also cited the status of non-conformities and observations raised by external auditors from 2017-2019.
Mrs. Rosanna S. Generato, Chief Administrative Officer for Administrative Division, , presented the status of actions taken on the issues and complains raised to the university. She began with a discussion of the feedback and complaint mechanism of the university as stated in BukSU’s Revised Citizen’s Charter and identified the actions taken on complaints received by the university.
