MALAYBALAY CITY (OP-IPS) Bukidnon State University joined the back to back celebration of the Commission on Higher Education on its 27th anniversary and on the First National Higher Education Day from May 17 to 21, 2021. As part of the university’s participation, online promotions and banners were posted via the BukSU Bukidnon State University FB Page.
BukSU also participated in giving a message in relation to this years’ theme PADYAK! Moving forward, claiming victory for the Philippine Higher Education; Pamantasan: Pandayan Tungo sa Kaunlaran.
Dr. Oscar B. Cabañelez, university president warmly congratulated CHED in this success. He also said in the video that BukSU is one with the mission of establishing the best education of Higher Education Institutions for development. “Let’s move Forward and Claim Victory for the Philippine Higher Education!” he added.
Among the BukSU events held in time with the national celebration were:
Release of initial episodes of BukSU TV digital mini-documentary series; unveiling of university streets in honor of previous administrators; Unveiling, ribbon-cutting, and dedication of BukSU Botanical Gardens and Herbarium, Launching of Coffee Table Book on BukSU Botanical Gardens:
