






| MALAYBALAY CITY (OP-IPS) The College of Nursing has organized a webinar for its Level IV students tackling nursing leadership and management. The webinar, which kicked-off the NCM 107B class, was held via Zoom Applications on February 9 to 10, 2021. Nurse leaders from various hospitals were invited as resource speakers. The first day focused on the roles and functions of nurse supervisors, senior nurses and head nurses. Ms. Ma. Theresa B. Plete, DM, Bukidnon Provincial Medical Center COVID Ward Nurse Supervisor; Ms. Jade T. Padua, RN, Malaybalay Polymedic General Hospital ICU Head Nurse; and Deborah Dawn A. Torregosa, RN, Bethel Baptist Hospital Inc. Senior Nurse gave the day’s inputs. On the second day, Mr. George Michael P. Lim, RN, MN from Polymedic Medical Plaza, Cagayan de Oro City spoke on Millennial Leadership and Chief Nurse Roles and Functions. After the talk, students had an engaging discussion with the speakers during the open forum. CON faculty Ms. Mariz Rochelle C.
