MALAYBALAY CITY (IPS) The Bukidnon State University College of Business in cooperation with the Philippine Association of Collegiate Schools of Business (PACSB) sponsored a one-day faculty development seminar workshop on February 11, 2019 in Balai Ha BukSU.
About a hundred participants from 19 business schools all over Mindanao and the Visayas took part in the discussion of issues and concerns on CMO 17 s2017 or the revised policies and guidelines on the Bachelor of Science in Business Administration program.
Dr. Antonio Lopez, CHED’s vice chair of the Technical Committee on Business and Management Education, facilitated the CMO workshop.
Dr. Aristheo MacKay Lacuna, a lecturer at Southville Global Education Network, facilitated the afternoon session on ‘Incorporating Design Thinking in Classrooms’. During the break out session, groups of participants came up with models of innovative ideas to address their identified problems.
Workshop participants included college deans and other school
administrators from different schools and universities, business educators, researchers and business students.
BukSU officials Dr. Oscar B. Cabañelez, university President and Dr. Estela C. Itaas, VPAA graced the event and officially welcomed the delegates and guests.
PACSB is a 56-year-old institution with more than 350 member schools. The organization spearheads reforms in curricular, research and extension initiatives. This year’s theme is PACSB: Adding Value to Business Education.

The Civil Service Commission (CSC) has named the Bukidnon State University (BukSU) Professor V, Dr. Lorenzo B. Dinlayan III, one of the 10 national semifinalists

(1) – Full-time Instructor Qualifications: Education: Education Bachelor’s Degree in Tourism Management; Preferably with a Master’s Degree in Tourism Management Training: Preferably with training aligned

(2) – Full-time Instructor Qualifications: Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology/Computer Science/Information Systems; preferably with Master’s Degree in in Information Technology/Computer Science/Information Systems Training: None
