Singcolan, a Filipino teacher of the Language and Letters Department, College of Arts and Sciences, BukSU, has been recognized as one of the recipients of the Selyo ng Kahusayan for Ulirang Guro sa Filipino by the Komisyon sa Wikang Filipino (KWF).
