
Bukidnon State University (BukSU) has secured favorable accreditation results from the Accrediting Agency of Chartered Colleges and Universities in the Philippines (AACCUP) following the Third Survey Accreditation Online Visit conducted on April 15–17, 2026.
Based on the official AACCUP accreditation results, six undergraduate and graduate programs offered at the City of Malaybalay Campus were granted Level III Re-accredited status, valid from May 1, 2026, to April 30, 2030.
The programs granted Level III Re-accredited status are:
• Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy
• Bachelor of Early Childhood Education
• Bachelor of Physical Education
• Doctor of Public Administration
• Doctor of Philosophy in Educational Administration
• Doctor of Philosophy in Science Education, major in Mathematics
Meanwhile, the Master of Business Administration program was awarded Level II Re-accredited status, valid from May 1, 2026 to April 30, 2027. The accreditation result indicates that the program must comply with the mandatory recommendations provided by AACCUP.
The accreditation results conclude the three-day online survey visit, during which AACCUP evaluators reviewed documentary evidence, academic processes, student services, research, extension, governance, and other institutional areas.
The team also conducted interviews with administrators, faculty members, students, alumni, employers, and community partners to validate the university’s compliance with established quality standards.
The outcome follows months of preparation by the faculty, staff, local task forces, and the Quality Assurance Unit, who worked together in compiling documents and presenting evidence for the evaluation. (BukSU – Information Unit)
