Bukidnon State University (BukSU) conducted a benchmarking activity with the City Engineering Office (CEO) of the City Government of Malaybalay on May 8, 2025, at the 4th Floor Conference Hall of BukSU’s Research and Extension Building to strengthen its infrastructure monitoring and project implementation systems.
Representing the CEO were City Engineer Engr. Leo Rustan L. Dela Cerna; Engr. Larry H. Leono, Head of the Construction Division; Engr. Virgo R. Jenisan, Head of the Materials Quality Control and Monitoring Division; Engr. Jeonard C. Gamus, Engineer III; Engr. Edgardo P. Vargas, Jr., Engineer II; Ms. Maricar M. Calunsag, Administrative Officer III; and Ms. Krizyl L. Ballarta.
Their presentations highlighted best practices in infrastructure project monitoring, transparency mechanisms, and quality control systems implemented at the city level.
From BukSU, the delegation included representatives from the Bids and Awards Committee for Infrastructure, the Project Monitoring and Inspection Team, the Planning and Development Unit, and the Project Management Unit. (Rosanna S. Generato, CAO-Admin)
