Senior students pursuing BS in Entertainment and Multimedia Computing, majoring in Digital Animation Technology (BSEMC-DAT) at Bukidnon State University (BukSU), shared their experiences, learnings, and feedback during the Exit Conference, held on May 7 at the College of Technologies (COT) Computer Laboratory, which marked the culmination of their 490-hour internships at various host training establishments (HTE).
The event was spearheaded by COT Dean, Dr. Marilou O. Espina, and attended by partner HTEs, including Ikigai Animation Studio, Hope Channel, Net25 Eagle Broadcasting, Rocketsheep Studio, MAD Studios, Polywick Studios, and Tuldok Animation Studios.
The students gave presentations about their internship experiences, discussing what went well, what could be improved, and what they had learned. Through these partnerships, they gained hands-on experience in real-world settings, allowing them to apply their theoretical knowledge to practical scenarios.
“The exit conference was a great avenue for us to share our hard work and effort as well as our journey, we were able to express the roller coaster emotions we felt during those times of our internship. We hope that you continue to support your students and guide them to their growth,” said Christian June Palin, one of the interns.
BukSU-EMC DAT will continue partnering with HTEs from the entertainment and multimedia computing industry to provide students with on-the-job training experiences relevant to their field. (Raul D. Lecaros, BSIT Faculty)
