The College of Education (COE) of Bukidnon State University initiated a series of diagnostic tests among Grade 4 learners at Kalasungay Central School, Malaybalay City Central School, Sumpong Central School, and Casisang Integrated School in Malaybalay City for an upcoming radio-based learning extension project.
The “Nasa Radyo Ang Titser Ko” extension project will serve as a supplementary learning tool for Grade 4 learners in mathematics, English, and science.
The data gathered from the tests served as the springboard for crafting targeted radio-based instruction and tailored lessons.
“This targeted assessment, aligned with the most essential learning competencies in mathematics, English, and science, unlocked valuable insights, fueling the development of radio-based lessons that catered to individual needs and unleashed potential, particularly in domains ripe for growth,” said project leader Dr. Lolita A. Dulay.
“This broadcast-based learning extension project will not only empower future generations of Grade 4 learners but also enrich educators’ understanding of effective strategies, guiding each learner towards success,” added Dulay.
The extension project is spearheaded by the College of Education, faculty members of Elementary Laboratory School, and COE’s Junior Extensionits, in collaboration with the Department of Education Malaybalay City Division. (Dr. Lolita A. Dulay, Project Leader COE-ELS)
