(1) - Assistant Professor IV

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor of Science in Food Technology; Master of Science in Food Science
  • Training: OBE/Outcomes-Based Teaching and Learning and Hybrid Teaching and use of LMS; Food Safety & Quality Systems training (e.g., GMP/GHP and HACCP; ISO 22000 awareness acceptable); Laboratory Safety/GLP (chemical safety, biosafety, proper waste disposal); Research Capability training; IP Training; Extension/linkages trainings.
  • Experience: At least three (3) years of relevant experience in college-level teaching and/or food industry practice (QA/QC, R&D, production, regulatory/food safety, product development); Preferably with demonstrated experience in laboratory supervision and research/extension activities.
  • Eligibility: Professional Food Technologist

Competencies Required:

  • Ability to teach major professional courses
  • Extension/linkages skills (industry partnerships, MSME/IP engagement, internationalization)
  • QA/Accreditation documentation and research skills (proposal writing, publications/presentations, project management)

Employment:

  • Status: Permanent
  • Salary: ₱ 53,818.00/month (SG 18)
  • Office Assignment: College of Technologies, Food Technology Department
