(1) - Assistant Professor II

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Guidance and Counseling or its allied fields (Psychology, Social Work, Education, Nursing, and the Behavioral Sciences i.e. Psychiatry, Sociology, etc.) RA. 9258; Graduate of Master of Arts/Education in Guidance Counseling (MAGC/MAED-GC); Willing to enroll in Doctor of Philosophy major in Guidance and Counseling as a first or second PhD Degree.
  • Experience: Not less than 2-3 years teaching in subjects (major and related courses) in Guidance and Counseling; Has experience teaching Understanding the Self and Gender and Society, Served as Guidance Counselor for at least 2-3 years.
  • Training: Trained in varied teaching Strategies and Assessment and field of expertise.
  • Eligibility: Preferably a Registered Guidance Counselor (RGC)/Scheduled to take the Licensure Examination for Registered Guidance Counselor

Competencies Required:

  • Able to develop curriculum development materials and teach in the Major and elated courses in Guidance Counseling/Psychology.

Employment:

  • Status: Permanent
  • Salary: ₱ 45,694.00 / month (SG 16)
  • Office Assignment: College of Arts and Sciences – General Education Curriculum Department
