Five academic programs at Bukidnon State University came under review during the 4th Survey Visit of the Accrediting Agency of Chartered Colleges and Universities in the Philippines (AACCUP) held virtually from June 16 to 18, 2026.
The programs reviewed were the Master of Arts in Education (International Linkages and Consortia), Bachelor of Science in Automotive Technology, Bachelor of Science in Electronics Technology, Bachelor of Science in Food Technology, and Bachelor of Science in Hospitality Management.
The virtual survey formed part of the Level IV accreditation process for the five programs. The review assessed compliance with AACCUP quality standards and program implementation requirements.
According to BukSU’s Quality Assurance Unit, the survey visit was conducted to support continuous quality improvement, evaluate program implementation, and determine responsiveness to recommendations from previous accreditation evaluations.
Dr. Iris April L. Ramirez, director of the Quality Assurance Unit, said the Level IV accreditation survey visit represents the highest level of program quality in the accreditation process and supports the university’s efforts to maintain academic programs that are globally competitive and sustainable.
“The Level IV accreditation survey visit is significant because it represents the highest level of program quality, ensuring BukSU’s academic programs are globally competitive and sustainable,” Ramirez said.
She said the survey visit aligns with SMART BukSU, the vision of University President Joy M. Mirasol for a future-ready university, through efforts aimed at improving efficiency and excellence across accreditation areas. (Cziaralyn D. Fernandez/ BukSU IU Intern)
