
Three personnel from Bukidnon State University (BukSU) were officially recognized as members of the Regional Pool of Gender and Development (GAD) Resource Persons Batch 2 during an awarding ceremony at the Commission on Population and Development (CPD) Regional Office held on June 11, 2026, in Cagayan de Oro City.
The newly certified GAD resource persons were Amihan Liway S. Ayson, GAD coordinator of the College of Arts and Sciences; Nina Flor S. Canoy, GAD coordinator of the Libona Satellite Campus; and Jo B. Un, an assistant professor from the College of Business.
Dr. Marichu B. Montecillo, BukSU GAD Focal Person, attended the semestral meeting and awarding ceremony on behalf of BukSU President Dr. Joy M. Mirasol.
In addition to representing Mirasol, Montecillo served as the Screening Committee Chair for RPGRP Batch 2. Joining her on the committee were Atty. Filipinas Palma, Legal Officer of the Commission on Human Rights-X, and Atty. Kristina Kaye Calingin, Executive Director of Balaod Mindanao.
