
The Bukidnon State University Elementary Laboratory School and Secondary Laboratory School Alumni Association held the Alumni Homecoming 2025 on December 20 at the university gymnasium, bringing together alumni from various batches for a campus reunion.
Activities during the event included raffle draws, interactive games, and the recognition of batches with the highest alumni attendance. Musical performances were provided by the band Utopia and DJ RB Banaag.
The program opened with remarks from Marlon Valcorza, president of the ELS/SLS Alumni Association, who spoke about continuity and shared ties among graduates of the two laboratory schools. BukSU President Joy M. Mirasol also addressed the gathering and encouraged alumni to remain connected with the university and carry its values in their respective pursuits.
According to the Alumni Relations Unit (ARU), the ELS/SLS Alumni Association continues to take part in initiatives that support university programs and alumni participation through coordinated activities with BukSU.
“Through various initiatives, activities, and collaborative efforts with the university, the association continues to contribute to programs that strengthen alumni engagement, support school activities, and uphold the values and legacy of BukSU,” said ARU Head, Ms. Katrina Faith M. Melig. “This sustained involvement reflects the alumni’s shared sense of gratitude and responsibility to the institution that helped shape their academic and personal journeys.”
The alumni association acknowledged the support extended by the university administration and partners that assisted in staging the event. Platinum sponsorship was provided by Congressman John Flores, John Fortich, Dialysis Center, and Dean Eduave. Gold sponsors were Minute Burger and Apple Manabilang. Silver sponsors included Sarah Lagrama, Allied Material Testing Lab, Mr. and Mrs. Camarinta, RPS Marketing, Steve Ramos Poultry, New Wave Lawyers, Apasdek Construction, ELS Batch ’89 / SLS Batch ’93, RD Glen Galario, and Councilor Niko P. Aldeguer.
