
The Office of the President of Bukidnon State University conducted its Operational Planning and Capacity Development Activity on August 27–29, 2025 at Loghouse 28 Mountain Resort, Kitaotao, Bukidnon.
Units under the Office of the President were participated by the Presidential Management Staff, International Affairs and Linkages Unit, Information Unit, Internal Audit Unit, Quality Assurance Unit, and Planning and Development Unit.
The activity featured learning sessions, management review, operations manual development, and teambuilding exercises aimed at strengthening the Office’s operational efficiency, coordination, and capacity to deliver quality services.
Among the highlights was the session “Busy with a Purpose” delivered by Ms. Joanne Vivien B. Necosia, Director of the Presidential Management Staff, which emphasized meaningful goal-setting and purposeful work in public service.
Another session on “Basic Emergency Management” was facilitated by Ms. Christie M. Esperon, Head of the Presidential External Affairs and Public Relations, providing essential knowledge and skills for preparedness and response in emergencies.

A Management Review was also conducted, where unit heads presented their accomplishments for the first rating period, reported on the status of second rating period targets, outlined upcoming activities, and addressed issues and concerns with corresponding action plans.
The Planning and Development Unit likewise facilitated a follow-up activity on the Operations Manual, focusing on its final editing, review, and preparation for submission.
To foster collaboration and camaraderie, the participants engaged in teambuilding activities that reinforced the spirit of unity and shared purpose among the OP units.
BukSU President Dr. Joy M. Mirasol commended the units for their efforts, saying, “The dedication and teamwork shown in this activity strengthen our shared commitment to excellence in service and institutional development.”
