The Planning and Development Unit of Bukidnon State University (BukSU), led a three-day write shop during the University Revision of the Office Operations Manual on May 28-30, 2025.
Top management, unit heads, deans, and program chairpersons reviewed, updated, and aligned office policies and procedures with the University Code and the Quality Management System’s processes to conform to the standards on documented information set by ISO 9001:2015.
Engr. Antonio P. Santos, BukSU’s consultant in Quality Management Systems, highlighted how internal policies and procedures with ISO 9001:2015 standards ensured compliance and continuous improvement in service delivery.
Workshops, discussions, and revision sessions were held resulting in a manual template and updated drafts of office operations manuals tailored to the needs of university units.
“The engagement of the university leaders throughout the write shop reflects BukSU’s commitment to governance, continuous improvement, and service excellence in delivering its academic and administrative functions,” Dr. Helen P. Garcia, Planning and Development Unit Director said. (Phillip Loyd M. Balosa, Planning and Development Unit Technical Writer)
