
The Provincial Government Office of Bukidnon (PGO-Bukidnon) through the Secretary to the Sangguniang Panlalawigan commended Bukidnon State University for its earned recognition as the most innovative higher education institution in the Philippines and for its outstanding contributions to Indigenous Peoples Education given on August 12, 2024 at the Kaamulan Open Theater, Provincial Capitol Compound, Malaybalay City, Bukidnon.
A Congratulatory Resolution is awarded to an individual, institution or organization who has shown dedication, commitment and exhibited excellence in its field of expertise contributing to the progress of the country and the world.
Mr. Dante S. Victoria, Jr., Vice President for Administration and Finance, received the Congratulatory Resolution together with Ms. Rosanna S. Generato, Chief Administrative Officer for Administration. Along with them were Program Department Heads: Mr. Jan Daniel P. Ching (General Education Courses Department), Dr. Rodello D. Pepito (Sentro ng Wika at Kultura), Dr. Grenna Marie Joy P. Simene (Language and Letters Department), Nova Thirdy E. Agravante of the Information Unit, and Director for Bukidnon Studies Center Ms. Loreta Sol L. Dinlayan.
On behalf of Atty. Apollo A. Maguale, Secretary to the Sangguniang Panlalawigan, Atty. Rubelie G. Cabiguin presented Resolution No. 2024-3870 (27th SP) authored by Board Member of the 2nd Legislative District Hon. Lorenzo Jr. L. Dinlayan with its main resolution citation, A Resolution Acknowledging Bukidnon State University for being Named as the Most Innovative Higher Education Institution in the Philippines on Indigenous Peoples Education:
“The innovative initiatives and programs implemented by Bukidnon State University has set a benchmark for excellence in Indigenous Peoples Education, inspiring other institutions and educators nationwide. The Sangguniang Panlalawigan of Bukidnon acknowledges and commends Bukidnon State University for its unwavering efforts in advancing IP Education and fostering cultural appreciation and understanding among students and educators.”
BukSU was awarded as the Philippines’ Most Innovative Higher Education Institution (HEI) in Promoting Indigenous Peoples Education during the BIGKIS 2024 organized by the Commission on Higher Education on July 4-5, 2024. The award was presented and given during the Monthly Convocation Program of PGO-Bukidnon. Along with BukSU, were leaders who have contributed chiefly to the development of their city and municipality as well as those who have represented Bukidnon to the national and global stages in sports and pageantry.
