The visit showcased BukSU’s inclusive environment and facilities, culminating in a forum at the Mini Theater where Dr. Carina Joanne V. Barroso, Vice President for Research, Extension, and Innovations, welcomed the guest and emphasized the university’s partnership with the Department of Interior and Local Government.
BukSU’s Student Welfare and Engagement Director, Dr. Mariza P. Manlagaylay, and Human Resource Management Unit Director, Dr. Xyle Fe A. Verbal, discussed best practices for diversity and inclusivity. Additionally, Dr. Lalevie C. Lubos, College of Public Administration and Governance Dean, highlighted BukSU’s role as a Local Resource Institute.
