BukSU unveils the centennial logo on December 14, 2023 during the Bansagen Awards 2023. The logo will be used in the centennial promotion and centennial celebration events across different media platforms and merchandise beginning 2024.
The theme of the centennial celebration is “A Century of Excellence: Retrospecting the Past, Prospecting the Future.”

Take a closer look of the logo and see what it means:
The torch represents knowledge, enlightenment and the transfer of wisdom throughout generations.
In the BukSU’s centennial emblem reflecting the institution’s century long pursuit of knowledge.
The infinity symbol in the emblem represents limitless possibilities, continuity and a lasting legacy that BukSU values, knowledge and influence are everlasting and will continue forever.
Furthermore, the use of Bukidnon colors and cultural symbols emphasizes BukSU’s close relationship to the province’s rich and diversified culture.
The colors brown and burnt orange in the torch and the infinity sign signify the soil of Bukidnon.
While navy blue is the official color of BukSU.
The red flame represents the enduring spirit of learning, and the torch’s blue, red, yellow and black zigzag lines signify the seven tribes of Bukidnon.
The artist behind BukSU’s Centennial logo, Mr. Ace Ivar Dumaquita received on stage the Certificate of Appreciation given by University President Dr. Joy M.
