Smart BukSU pushes for a paperless distribution of memoranda

MALAYBALAY CITY – Bukidnon State University pushed for a paperless distribution of memoranda effective September 12, 2023.

Under Memorandum 059, s. 2023, on Smart BukSU cost-saving measures, everyone was encouraged to adopt the paperless transactions to reduce carbon footprint and improve resource utilization.

With this, the Office of the President headed by the Dr. Joy M. Mirasol, took a significant step towards this goal by transitioning to a paperless distribution of memoranda through Google Forms.

Mr. Lloyd Anthony Gonzales from the President’s Office presented a virtual orientation showing the steps on how to access an electronically released memoranda. As presented, a link will be sent to all document controllers where the memoranda can be accessed. The use of institutional email was highly encouraged and access to the memoranda shall only be in a span of 24 hours.

Members of the BukSU Community attended the said orientation as they gear up for this transition upholding the Smart BukSU initiative.

The paperless transition will benefit the university as to its environmental sustainability, cost efficiency, enhanced accessibility and convenience, and timeliness. (Information Unit)
