Bukidnon State University (BukSU) signed a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) with the Department of Agriculture (DAR)- Bukidnon DAR Bukidnon on August 17, 2023.
The said MOA is on Cooperativism Among Provincial Agrarian Reform Associations and Cooperatives (CAPARAC): A Capability-Building Program. This extension initiative is in partnership with the College of Business (COB)-Extension Unit.
Provincial Agrarian Reform Program Officer II (PARPO II) Jammal G. Pangandaman, Engr. Phoebe I. Phoebe Noval, and Ms. Michelle M. Medura of the DAR-Provincial Office of Bukidnon were present during the signing.
University President Dr. Joy M. Mirasol, COB Dean Dr. Nestor Y. Cipriano, and COB-Extension Coordinator Mr. Jake Peras represented BukSU.
According to a report from DAR, PARPO II Pangandaman was grateful for the opportunity for having BukSU as their partner in capacitating the Agrarian Reform Beneficiaries Organizations.
BukSU’s College of Business and Extension Unit were set to provide series of capability building trainings and seminars. Dr. Mirasol also said that the partnership will include assessments and follow-through activities aside from the activities that will be conducted. (INFORMATION UNIT)
