MALAYBALAY BUKIDNON –Bukidnon State University Information Technology Department completed three Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) courses and got accreditation to Cisco Networking Academy – Enterprise Networking, Security, and Automation. (ENSA).
The successful completion of three essential courses in the CCNA program was done in the ENSA training held at the University of Santo Tomas (UST) from July 3 to 7, 2023.
Under the guidance of the Cisco Networking Academy – Core Council of the Philippines, COT faculty members Mr. Raul D. Lecaros and Mr. Peter Joseph G. Rabanes have gained their accreditation through a face-to-face hands-on training for ENSA.
The CCNA courses provided a comprehensive foundation in networking concepts, protocols, and technologies.
After recently completing Cisco 2 – Switching, Routing and Wireless Essentials, the ENSA training, further enhanced their expertise by focusing on advanced network security principles. They explored topics such as secure network design, virtual private networks (VPNs), firewalls, and intrusion prevention systems. The training also equipped them with the ability to identify vulnerabilities, develop secure network solutions, and implement effective security policies. The completion of the CCNA courses and ENSA training is a testament to the commitment and hard work of the BUKSU IT Department faculty and students.
