International research conference unfolds in BukSU

MALAYBALAY CITY (OP-IPS) The two-day 2021 International Conference on Methodological Advances in Research (ICMAR) opened today hosted by Bukidnon State University via Zoom. A total of 180 participants attended both the plenary and the parallel sessions.

This is the second conference conducted by the Visayas-Mindanao Consortium for Journal Publication, Inc. (VMCJPI). The conference, focused on the theme “Global Interconnectivity through Innovative Collaboration”, runs from December 2-3, 2021.

The consortium conceived today’s conference after the success of the first international conference in 2018 at the University of San Jose-Recoletos, Cebu City, Philippines. Earlier, the consortium also conducted three national research conferences in 2016, 2017 and 2019 respectively focused on fractal statistics, data mining, simulation and modeling, and multivariate methods.

Conference organizers accommodated I innovative ideas and development using advanced research methodologies in five strands: health and well-being, education and social science, environment and natural resource management, engineering, science and technology, and business and economic growth.
