President’s Message

Welcome to Bukidnon State University (BSU), a university where students really enjoy the opportunity to achieve their goals while developing a desire for lifelong learning. We are committed to opening up quality education to students from a diverse range of backgrounds and experiences.

Located in the northern part of Mindanao, Bukidnon State University is one of most welcoming universities in the Philippines.

You will have an unmatched learning experience with our multicultural, highly competent faculty who acquired their own qualifications at renowned universities in the Philippines and abroad. BSU offers an exceptional educational experience for our students and is supported by a rich library stocked with the latest books and journals along with state-of-the-art computer labs. In addition to knowledge acquisition and skill enhancement, we also work hard to develop a well-rounded personality for our students. We accomplish this through challenging opportunities in co-curricular and extracurricular activities that develop and polish the interpersonal, social, and organizational skills of our students. Our graduates eventually walk out into the world thoroughly trained and prepared, bold and confident, and ready to rise higher in the corporate echelons.

Our University has come a long way and we currently have more than 9,000 students. Bukidnon State University has an excellent reputation among students, their parents, faculty, local community, and the entire Mindanao island. However, since its conversion to Universityhood in June 2007 we have been considering what Bukidnon State University should be like in the future, to ensure that we strengthen and foster this reputation. As a result, many exciting changes are now in progress. In particular, we are building on our strengths, while developing new professionally-relevant areas; investing in staff and facilities and reorganizing ourselves to ensure that we maintain our traditional focus on academic excellence.
