The college extension agenda is in consonance with the local, regional and National Thrust. COE is actively implementing the Extension Program “Continuing Professional Development Through Extension Services” with the following projects:
- Pedagogical Content Knowledge in Action Research
- The project aims to provide series of seminar workshops to elementary and secondary in- service teachers in order for them to effectively deliver English, Science and Mathematics lessons to their students
- Enabling Public School Teachers in Research
- To enhance public school teachers’ capabilities to conduct research and enhance motivation towards research.
- Capacitating DepEd Teachers on Knowledge and Skills in Sports
- This extension project is designed to capacitate Alternative Learning Systems (ALS) and on the knowledge and Special Education (SPED) Teachers on the knowledge and skills in sports through series of seminar-workshop. It aims to equip the participants in different sports events through officiating and coaching.
- Capacitating the ALS In Fed Teachers in Teaching Life-Skills Education
- This project is designed to equip the various participants with various teaching methods and materials to effectively transfer life skills education to target beneficiaries of this project.
- Enhancing the Competencies of Non- education Degree Holders Teaching in Public Secondary Schools
- The project seeks to enhance the competencies of the non-education degree holders teaching in public secondary schools in the following areas of pedagogy, assessment, and instructional planning in the K to 12 curriculum aligned with the Philippine Professional Standard for Teachers
- Computer Literacy Training for Students for 4th Army Training Group, Training and Doctrine Command, Philippine Army.
- The project aims to bridge digital divide among officers and members of the Philippine Army 4ATG.
- Empowering Child Development Workers’ Classroom Management and Pedagogy
- The project aims to empower child development workers in Classroom Management and Pedagogy.
- Capacitating DepEd Teachers on Multigrade Instruction in the K to 12 Classroom
- The project aims to capacitate the teachers to conduct classroom- based action researches and mobilize the teachers to develop research-based instructional materials designed for multigrade classrooms
Production
- College and Graduate Program Faculty are given royalty for module authorship
- Faculty produced Instructional Materials such as Learning Modules, packets , course files, guides, etc. in response to the needs of flexible learning.
- Extension modules were produced for the various CPDES projects of the college.
