The main concern of the College of Education is the preparation of well-trained teachers for the Elementary and Secondary levels, imbued with ideals, aspirations and traditions of Philippine life and culture. The College equips the graduates of Bachelor of Early Childhood Education, Bachelor of Elementary Education, and Bachelor of Secondary Education with skills and competencies in educating children and adolescents. It offers in-service programs as continuing education for the professional renewal of teachers, as well as provides leadership in innovations in education through the Elementary and Secondary School Laboratories.
To supply basic education schools in the Philippines and elsewhere in the world teachers who:

| 1.4 | Demonstrate competence in the use of the theories in teaching and learning in lesson planning execution; | |

| 2. | Are educational leaders of innovation who: | |
| 2.1 | Trends (e.g.,21st century skills. Spiritual curriculum), issues (e.g., gender quality, climate change, multiculturism), and technology in teaching education; | |
| 2.2 | Educational management skills; | |
| 2.3 | Can establish networking and linkages with various stakeholders in basic education. | |
