
The main concern of the College of Education is the preparation of well-trained teachers for the Elementary and Secondary levels, imbued with ideals, aspirations and traditions of Philippine life and culture. The College equips the graduates of Bachelor of Early Childhood Education, Bachelor of Elementary Education, and Bachelor of Secondary Education with skills and competencies in educating children and adolescents. It offers in-service programs as continuing education for the professional renewal of teachers, as well as provides leadership in innovations in education through the Elementary and Secondary School Laboratories.
To supply basic education schools in the Philippines and elsewhere in the world teachers who:

1.1 | Have mastered the various classical and modern theories of teaching and learning; | |
1.2 | Are adept in the use and application of various teaching techniques assessment and evaluation tools in education; | |
1.3 | Can develop and utilize IM’s out of the theories in teaching and learning in lesson planning and evaluation. | |
1.4 | Demonstrate competence in the use of the theories in teaching and learning in lesson planning execution; | |
1.5 | Can provide experiential learning opportunities for different type of learners; | |
2. | Are educational leaders of innovation who: | |
2.1 | Trends (e.g.,21st century skills. Spiritual curriculum), issues (e.g., gender quality, climate change, multiculturism), and technology in teaching education; | |
2.2 | Educational management skills; | |
2.3 | Can establish networking and linkages with various stakeholders in basic education. | |
2.4 | Are actively equipped with the capability to engage in research work and community service; | |
2.5 | Are glocal (globally competitive but locally responsive) | |
