Highlights of Best Practices:
Approved Forms of BECEd Program
To ensure smooth and easy monitoring of faculty activities, submissions and transactions with students and parents, 19 forms were enrolled and approved for utilization starting July 31, 2020. |
Creation of Google Forms and Documents
During this “new normal”, gathering of relevant information from students and parents are not going to be the same with how it was done in the past semesters. Hence, in response to these changes brought by Covid-19 pandemic, the BECEd program started to convert some forms of the university into Google forms and documents. In order to do the following: 1) gather relevant information from our students particularly on the evaluation of teaching performance of the BECEd faculty during the 2nd semester of AY 2019-2020; 2) to gather information about the conducted activities like online enrollment for the first semester of AY 2020-2021; and 3) to track our graduates, the following Google forms were made: a) Teaching Perfomance Evaluation Form; b) QCE Student Evaluation for Instruction/Teaching Effectiveness; c) Customer Feedback Survey; and BECEd Alumni Tracker. These various webinars were purposely prepared for the faculty members to equip them with the necessary knowledge and skills to better facilitate blended learning modalities for teaching and learning processes.

The faculty attended to series of webinars sponsored by Department of Informations and Communications Technology, Bukidnon State University, The Association of Fil-Am Teachers of America, Inc. and the Commission on Higher Education (CHED) Region 10 in preparation for the AY 2020-2021. Through these webinars, the faculty members were taught how to recalibrate the syllabi of the subjects to be taught for the first semester, design the modules in consonance with the approved syllabi, and structure the Google classrooms for their assigned subjects. Aside from these, the webinars have enlightened the faculty members about various online and offline teaching and learning modalities including the G-Suite tools for education.
