Program Goals
This curricular program intends to provide students with relevant learning experiences, creative activities and innovative processes those encourage rational, analytical and critical thinking pertaining to the understanding of community development process, issues and concerns. This program also seeks inculcate and develop among students the values of integrity, respect, teamwork, innovativeness and excellence. The program expects students to become dynamic and productive citizens that can contribute to the development their community and country.
Program Outcomes
Graduates of the BS Community Development program shall have developed the ability to: | |
· | Effectively communicate orally and in written using both English and Filipino languages; |
· | Work effectively and independently in multi-disciplinary and multicultural teams (Philippine Qualifications Framework level 6 descriptor; |
· | Act in recognition of professional, social and cultural responsibility; |
· | Preserve and promote Filipino historical and cultural heritage (based on RA 7722; |
Engage in lifelong learning and understanding of the need to keep abreast of the developments in the specific field of practice (Philippine Qualifications Framework or PQF level 6 descriptor); | |
