1. Admission Policy:
Guidelines to determine students qualified to enrol in the program as freshman, transferee or shiftee.

All incoming first year shall be subject to the University’s admission requirements, as administered by the Office of the Students Services (OSS), Office of the Registrar and Office of the Dean of the College of Business (for the College of Business programs).

1. Admission Policy:
Guidelines to determine students qualified to enrol in the program as freshman, transferee or shiftee.
| Lifelong learners · At least 85% High School General Average of (Math, English, Science, Filipino) · At least 40% Entrance Exam Score Percentage * Conditional score may be accepted subject to grade evaluation and interview procedures with the approval of the Department Chairperson and the Dean of the College as on probationary student. K-12 Graduates ABM strand · At least 84% High School General Average of ABM major subjects (Principles of Marketing, Entrepreneurship, Fundamentals of ABM I and II, Business Math and other relevant ABM subjects. · At least 40% Entrance Exam Score Percentage * Conditional score may be accepted subject to grade evaluationand interview procedures and approval of the Department Chairperson and the Dean of the College as on probationary student.
Non – ABM strand · At least 85% High School General Average with no grade below 80. · At least 40% Entrance Exam rating * Conditional score may be accepted subject to grade evaluation and interview procedures and approval of the Department Chairperson and the Dean of the College as on probationary student. |
2. Retention and Promotion Policy:
Guidelines for students to be retained in the program and eligible to be promoted to the next year level. | 1. No grade below 2.5 in Financial Management 101 & 102 subjects or its equivalent. Should a student obtain a grade of 2.75, he/she is given only one chance to retake the subject and shall obtain a grade of 2.5 or better. A grade of 3.0 or 5.0 on the specified subjects disqualifies the student for further admission to the program/department with passing percentage of 60%. 2. Grades in Taxation and Law subjects may be 2.50 or better. Should the student obtain a grade below 2.50, he/she may be subject to review and may retake the subjects only on 2 chances.. Otherwise, this will be a basis for disqualification. 3. To qualify for the next year level, the student must satisfy the following Grade Point Average (GPA): To qualify for 2nd year 2.50 To qualify for 3rd year 2.50 To qualify for 4th year 2.50 4. Behind subjects may be added the next semester or school year if the student reaches a GPA of at least 2.5 in all his/her major subjects. |

| For Incoming First Year
• At least 83% High School General Average in (Math, English, Science, Filipino) • At least 40% Entrance Exam
For shifters and transferees
• Transferees are required to take an entrance exam. • A GPA of at least 2.5 (all subjects) can be accommodated to the regular BSHM program • A GPA of between 2.5 and 2.75 can be accommodated but will be subject to On- Probation status (15 units) • No shifters and transferees will be accommodated with a GPA below 3.0 • Dropped, INC or Withdrawn subject is computed as 5.0 • Transferees: Credit equivalency of General Education subjects shall be subject to the conditions of the College of Arts and Sciences. |

1. No grade below 2.5 in HPC2, HPC3, HMPE2, HMPE3, and HMPE4. Should a student obtain a grade of 2.75 or below, he/she will retake the subject and shall obtain a grade of 2.5 or better (to be implemented AY 2018-2019) 2. GPA for Major Subjects should not be below 2.5; otherwise, student will be DELOADED with one or two major subjects the following semester.(to be implemented AY 2018-2019). One subject reduction for a GPA of between 2.5-2.75 and two major subjects reduction for a GPA of below 2.75. 3. No failures in any subject; otherwise, the student will be ON PROBATION (18 units for 1 failure; 15 units for 2 failures) 4. 2 failures of major subjects in one semester for 1st and 2nd year students, the student will be advised to shift(to be implemented AY 2018-2019) 5. 2 failures of major subjects in one semester for 3rd and 4th year students, the student shall only carry 12 units.
