The Office of the University Registrar is an academic service unit which stewards academic records and data accurately and efficiently. It supervises the processes for the articulation of transfer credits, graduation and certification of baccalaureate and post-graduate degrees, enrollment and degree verification, production of official transcripts, diplomas, and commencement ceremonies. Furthermore, this office counsels and advises students, faculty and staff on academic matters; and interprets and enforces policies and regulations of the University.

  • Preparation, Submission and Distribution of Academic Calendar;
  • Transaction with Government Offices or Agencies regarding matters related to the functions of the Office; and
  • Preparation of the final list of candidates for graduation and coordinates with the Office of the Vice-President for Academic Affairs for the commencement exercises.

Registration

ENROLLMENT

Enrollment refers to the registration and acceptance of the student to the regular classroom work. A student of Bukidnon State University is considered enrolled if they have submitted their valid credentials to the University Registrar’s office; has been issued a study load approved by the Dean of their college; and has paid fees or made arrangements for payment with the University.

ENROLLMENT PROCEDURE

Every prospective student must enroll during the given registration or enrollment period, usually one week before the opening of classes. Late enrollment is allowed during the first week of class and the student pays a penalty. A student may enroll only in subjects which are still open.

Steps in Pre-Enrollment for Freshmen/Transferees (REFER TO OSS FOR FURTHER ANNOUNCEMENTS)

1st Attend the Pre-enrolment Orientation.
2nd Proceed to the preferred college of choice for personal interview and present documents in a long brown envelope for evaluation.
3rd Proceed to the I.T. Laboratory for the Information System Registration& submit documents.

4th Secure a signed Evaluation Form from the officer of the college.
5th Get a Personal Data Sheet (PDS) from the KIOSK machine.
6th Present the PDS together with your signed evaluation form and get a Certificate of Registration (COR) printout from the enrollment officer in the loading stations located at designated areas.
7th Present Certificate of Registration (COR) to the Chairperson/Evaluator for confirmation.
8th Present a copy of Certificate of Registration (COR) at the cashier for payment and validation. (The enrollment is immediately validated after payment.)

A. Issuance of Transcript of Records

A graduate, a former student, or a current student of the university may request for Transcript of Records (TOR). The following are the steps to follow in requesting TOR:

B. Transfer of Credentials 

A graduate, a former student, or a current student of the university may apply for Transfer of credentials (or Honorable Dismissal) if they wish to enroll to any Higher Education Institutions (HEIs). This certificate comes with a “for evaluation only” copy of the records and shall be issued only once. The following are the steps to follow in requesting Transfer of Credentials:

Dean's List


In line with the University’s vision-mission, semestral convocation is held specifically to grant certificates of recognition to deserving students with exemplary performance. To qualify to the Dean’s Honor List, the following guidelines should be considered:

1. The student has a Grade Point Average (GPA) 1.75 or better with no grade lower than 2.00;
2. A student carries a semestral load of at least 18 units;
3. A student has not dropped after registration period or has not incurred and overcut due to absences; and
4.  The student exhibit exemplary conduct. Drug abuse, misbehavior or failing health due to alcoholism, or unhealthy habits are grounds for disqualification.
