MALAYBALAY CITY (May 29) Bukidnon State University President Dr. Oscar B. Cabañelez received an Australia
Awards Fellowship, as part of the Basic Education Sector Transformation Program (BEST) Supported Programs on Teacher Education.
Dr. Cabañelez received the award along with other presidents of the active members of the 3NS or the National Network of Normal Schools in the Philippines.
The president completed his fellowship obligations and presented his accomplishments and lessons learned before fellowship organizers on May 4 to 5, 2018 in Microtel Mall of Asia.
He travelled to Australia from January 28 to February 10, 2018 to attend the activities of the fellowship dubbed as Applied Development and Research partnership in Tertiary Leadership and Management.
He said participation in the fellowship greatly improved his skills and knowledge, encouraging him to revisit his leadership frames.
The fellowship grant is connected with Dr. Cabañelez all-out support for the participation of Bukidnon State University in its partnership with Philippine Normal University in the Curriculum Quality Audit (CQA), which is also supported by the BEST program. IPS
