Mass Training for DepED Grade 9 Teachers

Bukidnon State University was chosen as a Center of Training  (COT) to host the mass training for Grade 9 teachers in Bukidnon. A Memorandum of Agreement  was signed by Dr. Victor   M. Barroso, the President of the University and Dr. Ingrid Racoma, the Officer-in-Charge (OIC), in the Office  of the  Regional Director of DepED Region X. The training aimed to equip the teachers handling Grade 9 classes.

There were two batches which were held lastMay 12-16 and May 19-23, respectively. It was participated by a total  of 803 teachers of the two (2) Divisions of Bukidnon namely; (1) Division of Malaybalay; and (2) Division  of Valencia. Of these teachers, 144 are handling Science, 72- Araling Panlipunan,91-Edukasyon sa Pagpakatao, 133- English, 112-Filipino, 144-   Mathematics,  and  107 are teaching MAPEH. Seven (7) teachers of the BSU Secondary School Laboratory (SSL) served  as trainers during the five-day training. The trainers were Mrs. Nornie B. Micayabas (Science);  Mrs. Desiree A. Barroso (Araling Panlipunan); Mrs. Cecille Marie T. Improgo (English); Mrs. Ma. lsidora W. Adajar (Filipino); Ms. Vanda Kay B. Bicar (Mathematics); Romeo Pabiona and Ronald Francisco (MAPEH).
